It’s Festival Season 🎭!
After Gianni and Donald got things kicked off last night with their “embarrassing uncle” double act at World Cup Final Fest (heralded as “crap” by Wayne Rooney), it’s that time of year where Comedy Crowders take to stages around the world to showcase their talents.
Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be sharing a selection of shows to look out for by top talent Comedy Crowders this summer. Here’s 4 to start with:
Serena Terry (2023 Chorts winner) is taking her show “Factory Settings” to the Edinburgh Fringe from 12-14 August. After suffering a debilitating nervous system crash, Serena joins a clinical trial marketed at those desperate to settle their anxious minds and reset to a more calm and secure mentality. Hudson Hughes (2022 Chorts finalist) is performing “At Your Service” at the Edinburgh Fringe from 5th - 30th August. For nearly 20 years, Rev Derek Gritt has brought a little bit of holy into Britain's homes with his TV show At Your Service. As usual, he'll lead the service, chat church and answer your burning questions. Tickets and details here
Nikola McMurtrie (2023 Chorts winner) has co-written and is performing in “Mothman: A Romance Musical” along with Hudson Hughes (who is having a busy Edinburgh Fringe!), co-writer Alex Franklin and Alex Prescot. They are also at the Edinburgh Fringe from 5th - 30th August. Find tickets and details here
Jonathan Kogan is starring in “Useful Idiots” on Saturday 25th July at the Big Belly Southbank Fringe Fest. Check out full details and tickets here

INK Festival | Autumn 2026 Script Writing Courses
INK Festival is offering a free series of adult scriptwriting workshops this autumn.
Writing a Short Play is a practical, hands-on course designed to help writers develop the skills needed to create a compelling short play. Participants will explore storytelling, character development, dramatic tension, plot structure and resolution, all within a fifteen-minute format.
