Does this quote prompt some comedy reflections? Or, as in our case, a quick google of the word ‘Paleolithic’?
Our modern world is utterly absurd. We attach extreme emotions to matters of insignificance, and we can achieve mind bending scientific feats, yet still fail to solve basic problems like keeping matching socks together, or scripting a self-service machine that you don’t want to smash to smithereens.
Comedy is all around us. Let’s go find it folks.

Festigious is a monthly film & screenplay competition. Each month, their jury awards the best films through private screenings. The Best Picture monthly winners will compete for the Best of Fest award.

Writers with at least one credited broadcast comedy writing credit and not working in broadcast as a full-time comedy writer can enter the first 10 pages of a half-hour radio or television sit-com pilot script or four three-minute comedy sketches for the chance to win a £1000 prize.
