"Beethoven and Mozart didn’t have higher hit rates than some of their peers; they generated a larger volume of work, which gave them more shots at greatness."
Adam Grant - Think Again
Greetings Comedy Crowders,
It may seem counterintuitive that those we consider geniuses often reached that lofty status because they did more work than their peers, rather than because everything they touch turns to gold. But all the evidence suggests this is true.
Which is good news for us creators, because doing the work is something within our control.
In today’s inspiration section we have an interview with War Of Art author Stephen Pressfield, one of the great writers on “turning pro” with your creative work.
We’ve also got some love ripe comedy creating opportunities just waiting to be picked. Happy Monday..
